New England Patriots

  • The Patriots injury report had just one addition on Thursday. Meanwhile, the Browns did a bit of juggling at practice including one of their top players.

For the Patriots, linebacker Josh Uche (hamstring) was added as a limited participant. He joined the 11 players who were listed on Wednesday in quarterback Mac Jones (ankle), running back Damien Harris (hamstring), wide receiver Nelson Agholor (hamstring), tight end Jonnu Smith (ankle), center David Andrews (back), defensive linemen Lawrence Guy (shoulder) and DaMarcus Mitchell (concussion), linebacker Raekwon McMillan (thumb), and cornerbacks Jalen Mills (hamstring) and Jonathan Jones (ankle).

  • As for Jones, he continues to appear to be moving better at practice after walking with a noticeable limp last week. His status remains unclear as the Patriots prepare to face the Browns on Sunday. A clearer update will come tomorrow when the team announced the game statuses on the final injury report of the week.

For Cleveland, starting right tackle Jack Conklin (not injury related) and defensive end Myles Garrett (shoulder, biceps, hand) both missed practice after taking part on Wednesday (Conklin was a full participant, while Garrett was limited). Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (ankle, knee, elbow) and cornerback Denzel Ward (concussion) also were out on Thursday.

Starting left guard Joel Bitonio (elbow) returned to the field as a limited participant after being a non-participant on Wednesday. Defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey (ankle) and safety Ronnie Harrison (illness) were both upgraded to full participants.
