New England Patriots

  • The Patriots’ injury report continues to grow as the week goes on. One player was added to the report on Thursday while another was downgraded, bringing the total players listed to 13 players, including eight non-participants.

Running back Damien Harris (not injury related) and safety Adrian Phillips (illness) both didn’t practice on Thursday after being on the field on Wednesday. Harris has previously dealt with a thigh injury that has kept him out of games for over a month, although he has been limited at practice at times.

  • In addition to those two, wide receiver DeVante Parker (concussion), tight end Jonnu Smith (concussion), tackle Yodny Cajuste (illness), and cornerbacks Jalen Mills (groin), Marcus Jones (concussion), and Jack Jones (knee) all missed their second practice of the week. Special teamer Matthew Slater (not injury related) was the only player from Wednesday’s DNPs to return to the field on Thursday.

The Patriots also had four players limited, in running back Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle), wide receiver Tyquan Thornton (knee), tight end Hunter Henry (knee), and cornerback Jonathan Jones (chest). All four were limited on Wednesday as well.

For Miami, starting cornerback Xavien Howard (knee) was added to the injury report after not appearing on Wednesday. He was limited on Thursday. Offensive lineman Brandon Shell (shoulder) was also added as limited, while running back Raheem Mostert (not injury related) was limited after not participating on Wednesday.
