Toucher & Hardy

Greetings, and here we are in Week 4 of the 2023 NFL season. I’ll be highlighting some value budget-friendly options available on the Week 4 Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) slate.

If you had De’Von Achane in your lineup last week, you probably cashed in. Achane ran for 203 yards and scored four total touchdowns. You can say the same about his teammate, Raheem Mostert. He crossed the goal line four times in a 70-20 win over Denver. Each week you have to find that diamond in the rough to win a tournament. Who could be the surprise cheap play in week four? Let’s use last week’s formula: A terrible defense on the road. Denver is on the road again. They and Chicago are terrible defenses and face each other this week. Tank Dell is another example of a cheap play that scored big last week. Dell had 5 receptions for 145 yards. In week two, Dell scored with 70 yards and 7 receptions. He’s trending up and still affordable for the time being. Houston faces Pittsburgh at home this week. The Steelers haven’t been good against the pass, and Dell could be a good play again.

QUARTERBACKS

Daniel Jones

Daniel Jones – $5,600

Last week, Andy Dalton went to Seattle and threw for 361 yards and two touchdowns. The Giants’ offense struggled last Thursday against San Francisco. They’ve had extra time to get right, and Daniel Jones should be able to throw on this Seattle defense.

RUNNING BACKS

Harris

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – SEPTEMBER 24: Najee Harris #22 of the Pittsburgh Steelers walks on the field after a win over the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium on September 24, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Photo by Chris Unger/Getty Images)

Najee Harris – $5,500

Averaging under 6 points per game so far. This should change against Houston, who have given up a league-leading 7 rushing TDs and an average of 4.3 yards per carry.

Dameon Pierce – $5,100

The plan for Houston should be to run, run, and run some more to start this game. Pittsburgh is giving up over 5 yards per carry. Steelers’ defense is very tough getting after the passer. So establishing Pierce should be priority number 1.

  • WIDE RECEIVERS

    DJ

EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY – AUGUST 18: DJ Chark Jr. #17 of the Carolina Panthers carries the ball as Bobby Okereke #58 of the New York Giants defends during the first half of a preseason game at MetLife Stadium on August 18, 2023 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. DJ Chark – $4,000

Eleven targets last week in Seattle. Carolina is home against the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings have given up seven touchdowns this season and a lot of yards.

  • DJ Moore – $5,600

    MOORE

It’s been a disappointing start for Moore and everyone else on the Chicago Bears. This week Denver comes to town. They’ve given up 9 touchdowns on the year, and I expect Moore to have a breakout day.

  • TIGHT END

    Engram

EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY – DECEMBER 22: Evan Engram #17 of the Jacksonville Jaguars carries the ball as Sauce Gardner #1 of the New York Jets defends during the game at MetLife Stadium on December 22, 2022 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. (Photo by Sarah Stier/Getty Images)

    Evan Engram – $4,700

Last week Sam LaPorta had a great day against Atlanta. This week Evan Engram faces them. Engram caught 7 of 8 targets last week and should be targeted highly again.

  • DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS

    browns

CLEVELAND, OHIO – SEPTEMBER 24: Myles Garrett #95 of the Cleveland Browns sacks Ryan Tannehill #17 of the Tennessee Titans during the fourth quarter of a game at Cleveland Browns Stadium on September 24, 2023 in Cleveland, Ohio. (Photo by Nick Cammett/Getty Images)

    Cleveland – $2,800

Facing Baltimore at home. The Ravens haven’t been great offensively this season. Cleveland has 9 sacks on the year and could limit Baltimore’s scoring.
