Felger: Here we go. Mazz's tiers. Give them to us, Mazz, start with tier one. Who's your tier one NFL power ranking?

Mazz: Okay, I'm almost inclined to skip this one every week because it remains unchanged. I haven't found a new team to enter this group in a while. Buffalo, Kansas City, Philadelphia, Dallas. Those are the four best teams in football, all in tier one. I had no reason to take any of them out last week. I had no reason to move anyone else up there.

Felger: Tier two, please.

Mazz: Okay, tier two. Couple of new teams added to this group, I know Murray is going to be pissed, but too bad. Cincinnati.

Jim Murray: Ugh.

Mazz: Baltimore, Minnesota, Tennessee, moving up into tier two. Miami remains there and now San Francisco back up in tier two. They just completely dominated the Rams last week. Christian McCaffrey clearly having an impact on that offense. I think the Niners to be taken seriously.

Felger: Let's hear the rest of the bums in the league, please.

Mazz: Tier three, very small tier this week. Very small tier three. Chargers, Seattle, Giants. The Giants actually moved down from tier two. They were there briefly. They weren't a true tier two team. They overachieved a little bit, but now they're in tier three. That's it.

Felger: Oh.

Jim Murray: Oh.

Mazz: Three teams in tier three. Chargers, Seahawks, Giants.

Mazz: Tier four, please.

Mazz: Okay, tier four. Getting a little crowded here now down towards the bottom. Moving down into tier four this week, Green Bay, the Rams, the Jets, patriots remain there with Tampa, New Orleans, Arizona, Atlanta, Denver. Now there are a couple of teams in there I think you could make an argument for tier three but I'm reluctant to do it.

Felger: Tier four, please. The dregs of the dregs, also known as the Patriots schedule.

Mazz: Tier five, you mean?

Felger: Tier five, sorry.

Mazz: Three teams dropped into tier five, which means I think they are now suck bag teams. Indianapolis blows, Patriots should not lose to that team this week. Jacksonville, they plummeted, they're now back in tier five. Vegas, the Vegas Raiders, they smell.

Jim Murray: They started as tier one, I believe, before this even kicked off.

Mazz: That's a bad team. 2-5. That's a bad team. Pittsburgh, Carolina, Houston, Washington, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland.
