Felger: Tier one please.
Mazz: Kansas City, Philadelphia, and now the Minnesota Vikings in tier one.
Felger: Is that their debut?
Mazz: That is their debut. They went into Buffalo, they beat the Bills and I know the Bills gave the game away, but 8-1 is 8-1. It’s a bottom line business. Minnesota’s the number two seed in the conference. Their only loss is to Philly, in Philly. There’s no picking at the Vikings. Now, if you ask me to I believe in the Vikings in the playoffs? We’ll see.
Felger: Tier two please.
Mazz: Tier two…second tier. Moving down from tier one where they’ve been for a number of weeks, Dallas Cowboys. That was a bad loss at Green Bay. You got yourself a late lead, you got to close that puppy out. Dallas out, Minnesota in to tier one. I mean, I think you could argue that you pushed Buffalo down further, but there’s a lot of talent there. Cincinnati staying in tier two along with Baltimore, Tennessee, Miami, San Francisco.
Felger: Tier three, please.
Mazz: I don’t like tier three overall. The Chargers, Seattle, Giants. I like the Giants. I got to put the Jets in tier three for now. Tampa. And you know what? I moved the Washington Commanders into tier three. I said this to you guys off the air yesterday, I got to give Ron Rivera some credit, man. He’s a decent coach.
Felger: Tier four, please.
Mazz: Tier four. Here you go. Tier four. These are the New England Patriots neighborhood, the Pats. Arizona, Atlanta, Denver, and I moved two teams up this week, Green Bay and Indianapolis into tier four.
Felger: Tier five, please.
Mazz: Tier five. Here we go. Hit it. New additions to tier five. The Rams.
Mazz: The Rams blow.
Felger: Did they begin in tier one?
Felger: That is a precipitous drop.
Mazz: They’re awful. That is an awful team. And they lost Cooper Kupp now. And Stafford is coming back this week. For what? So he can get killed? Who’s he going to throw to that team blows. The Saints and then the regulars in tier five, Jacksonville, Vegas, who’s been there for a while now, Pittsburgh, Carolina, Houston. The Bears were threatening to come out of there and then they blew that game to the Lions, who are in tier five, and the Browns, who got their faces ripped off by the Dolphins last week. They suck too.
