On Tuesday’s edition of Zolak & Bertrand, Beetle applauded Devin McCourty for calling out Joe Judge.
Marc Bertrand: Good for Devin McCourty. That’s who called out Joe Judge. That was Sunday, spending his bye week on the CBS NFL pre-game show. Well, this is what I love. This is what I love about the guy. He went on and told you the truth. Joe Judge is a jackass, and he didn’t say this, this is me expanding upon it. Joe Judge is a jackass to play for. Giants players there didn’t like him, the same way the players in Detroit didn’t like Matt Patricia. It’s a trend. It’s a trend with these guys. The same way the players in Denver hated (Josh) McDaniels. Right. This has happened with a lot of these guys. McDaniels has talked about it being a real lesson for him, that you’ve got to be true to yourself. You can’t try to be anybody else and he’s probably taking a much different approach with unfortunately similar results. But he (McCourty) just gives it to you straight. Yeah, it’s been a great experience for those guys that I’ve talked to down in New York playing for (Brian) Daboll. He knows Daboll.
Scott Zolak: He knows Daboll well. It’s not like, hey, I had to talk to their safety to get this type of information because I know what kind of Coach Daboll is.
