Felger & Mazz

Weekdays 2pm-6pm

This offensive roster wasn’t made in an attempt to throw digs at any Boston Bruins general manager, it was made out of curiosity of who’s still in the league. Below is an NHL offense of players that were traded by the Bruins. It’s not a great team, but it’s also not the worst.

  • FIRST LINE

REILLY SMITH – TYLER SEGUIN – BLAKE WHEELER

  • This would be a solid top line in the NHL. Not the best, but not close to being the worst.

  • SECOND LINE

DANTON HEINEN – ERIK HAULA – PHIL KESSEL

Carolina Hurricanes v New Jersey Devils - Game Three

  • Not an ideal second line. Heinen is a bottom-6 forward, Haula is a middle-6 guy and Kessel isn’t what he once was. Could things be worse? Yes. Could things be a lot better? Absolutely!

  • THIRD LINE

MILAN LUCIC – RYAN DONATO – FRANK VATRANO

Colorado Avalanche v Seattle Kraken - Game Four

  • Donato doesn’t spend a lot of time at center but he has to slide to the middle here because we were low on centers. Overall, not great. You could probably swap Vatrano for Kessel on the second line, but we needed to add some kind of scoring touch to the 3rd line.

  • FOURTH LINE

ANDERS BJORK – JACK STUDNICKA – CRAIG SMITH

STATELINE, NEVADA - FEBRUARY 21: Anders Bjork #10 of the Boston Bruins loses his stick against the Philadelphia Flyers in the second period during the 'NHL Outdoors At Lake Tahoe' at the Edgewood Tahoe Resort on February 21, 2021 in Stateline, Nevada. (Photo by Christian Petersen/Getty Images)

  • I’ve seen better 4th lines. I mean, overall maybe this line would be okay? But woof, we got really thin at the end of this traded players exercise.
