Boston Celtics

The Celtics attempt at history came to a screeching halt on Monday night after a 103-84 loss in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals. With Jayson Tatum hobbled, the second half of the Celtics dynamic duo, Jaylen Brown, was unable to step up, committing eight turnovers and shooting 1-for-9 from 3-point land.

With sights set on the offense, the rumors and speculation surrounding the future of Jaylen Brown in Boston has already begun.

  • Windhorst would be surprised to see Jaylen go

Appearing on ESPN’s “Hoops Collective” podcast, NBA insider Brian Windhorst said he would be surprised if Brown’s time in Boston is done:

“I would be stunned,” Windhorst said about Brown not remaining with the Celtics next season. “In talking to people on both sides, I think there’s a very good chance they’re gonna find ground on that.”
