Mike Felger: If I were the special teams coach, or if I were a head coach, this is what I would tell my special teams coach, especially if I were good, if I sucked, this might be different, but if I had Aaron Rodgers or Pat Mahomes or Josh Allen and one of these guys ... every punt's a fair catch. We will have no - I'll be like this high school coach that never punts - I will be the pro coach that never returns a punt. First guy to return a punt ... fired ... cut. You either fair catch that puppy or you let it bounce and you run out of bounds. Any of you a-holes fumble a punt, muff a punt, touch a punt, you're out. I'm going to kick you off the team plane. No punt returns.

And all I'm going to do is, everything's a touchback, everything's a fair catch, and it's all about, all you a-holes have to do is line up. Line up, and we're going to fair catch it and kick it out of the back of the end zone. And that's my special teams unit. And that's it. I'm not going to spend any money on it. I'm not going to spend any draft capital on it. If I'm good. If I suck, if I'm a sucky team, go ahead run around out there, you've got to do something. Our quarterback can't do anything, so go try and return the big deal, if you fumble, we suck anyway.

But if I'm good, if I'm good, I'm eliminating special teams. I'd like a good field goal kicker, but the rest, oh please, fair catch it, kick it out of the end zone, let the ball bounce. Get off the field. Line up. No penalties, no turnovers. That's all I care about. If we don't have one return yard, I'm fine. Zero return yards, zero turnovers. That is a successful special teams year as far as I'm concerned.
