Felger thinks Parcells should be in

Felger: The Parcells chapter in Patriots history is just about the most entertaining chapter we've had. And I'm not saying it's THE most because it wasn't ultimate winning with it. So certainly winning these Super Bowls and Spygate, Deflategate like there's a lot of entertaining chapters. A lot of them. But the Parcells years....that was good stuff.

Mazz: Yeah, he was a monumental figure.

Felger: Those four years, how tumultuous and newsworthy and buzzworthy. And we talked about this last night, it's like we even talked the same way. Catchphrases were created during those four years that we still use today, "you are what you are", and "if they're going to make you cook the dinner, they might as well let you buy the groceries, who's buying the groceries?", you may hear this now kids, from time to time, us was talking about who's buying the groceries. That's from Parcells. And when someone says you are what your record says you are, that's Bill Parcells. We still talk in his language. And from how he got here to the in-between to how he left, the border war that existed afterwards going to the Jets, the whole thing. That is one of the most colorful, entertaining chapters the franchise has ever had. And you don't want that in your Hall of Fame. What's the matter with you?

Mazz: I couldn't agree with you more. He was, you know we always use this phrase and oftentimes we use it with Parcells, larger than life. He was one of those titans that, and again I'm not talking about the resume, I'm just talking about there was something about him. He had a magnetism to him and he wasn't afraid to stick his face in the middle of it and take the criticism or the praise that went with it.

Felger: Even the nickname "The Tuna".

Mazz: It changed forever the day that guy set his foot in this town. It changed forever. Parcells was big sports, big cities, big spotlight. He was all of that. He was like the king of the Titans for crying out loud. When they brought him in here it changed everything.
