Boston Bruins

On Friday’s edition of Zolak & Bertrand, Patrice Bergeron joined the show and admitted he didn’t foresee a season like this from the Bruins.

  • Even Bergeron didn't see it coming...

Scott Zolak: I think you could go back to a year ago at this time. How do you personally feel, you know, physically another year into it and did you foresee this type of year you guys are having sort of coming together like a year ago?

Patrice Bergeron: Yeah. No, I feel good. It’s been to be honest with you… did I foresee that? Probably not. Not the way that we’re with the record that we have. But I knew we were going to have a good team in the summer. I was talking to David Krejci and obviously him coming back has a big impact on us doing well and giving us depth at the forward position obviously. So yeah, I mean, I knew we had a great team, I think more than what people thought and I felt like people were kind of cutting ourselves short a little bit and especially with the injuries that started the year. But that being said, I was really confident in our team and that’s why I wanted to be a part of it and it’s been, as I said many times, it’s a it’s a special group. It’s been a lot of fun.
