  • Jimmy Butler came up big in overtime for the Miami Heat, as the Boston Celtics’ 10-game home winning streak was snapped by a 120-116 final on Friday night at TD Garden. The C’s had won 10 in a row in Boston dating back to Oct. 30, including a Wednesday night win over the Heat, who earned a split in the rare two-game set at the same building.

Jaylen Brown hit a clutch three-pointer from an estimated 30 feet away with just 2.3 seconds left in regulation, tying the game at 110. But it was Butler who made the difference in the OT period, scoring four of his 25 points, including a step-back dagger to make it a four-point game with just 9.4 seconds left. Marcus Smart missed the Celtics’ final shot attempt of the game.

The loss came on a rough shooting night for Jayson Tatum, who finished with 14 points on 5-for-18 from the field, including 0-for-7 from three-point range. Butler edged out Tatum and the C’s with both his timely scoring and his play on the glass, as he finished with a game-high 15 rebounds, including six from the offensive end.
