This might be what Belichick wants
Beetle: It's simple. You might have an easier guy to coach in Zappe right now. I can get on board with that theory with Big Jim. I would just say it's more simple than that. It's that guy when he plays well, we look good. When Mac Jones goes out, he's made us look bad this year. We're going to ride with the guy who's made us look good for a little bit. We're gonna give him a shot. And if he plays really well and they win, like you've said, so you think they're winning the next five straight. Let's say they win the next two straight with Zappe.
Scott Zolak: Zappe-mania.
Beetle: You have a competition on your hands in two weeks.
Scott Zolak: I don't think you do if Mac's healthy, but it makes the season more interesting boy. It really does.
Beetle: Two weeks from now, you will have played two more games. Two more on that Monday. We'll say 13 days from now on the 17th. You come in on a Monday and say, 'Who's the starting quarterback for this team? Who is it?'
