On Tuesday’s edition of Zolak & Bertrand, Marc Bertrand refused the notion that David Krejci is under-appreciated in Boston.

  • Krejci was the 4th-best player...

Marc Bertrand: Ryan Johnston, our very own Ryan Johnston of 98.5 The Sports Hub, said David Krejciis criminally underappreciated in this city. Oh. Is he? Or is he a guy who was the third or fourth best player on the team for an era? Because that’s what he is. And he’s a good player let’s not put him down and criminally under-appreciate him. But what do you want for the third or fourth best guy on your team? When Chara was here, if Bergeron was here, and Marchand was here all together, Krejci was the fourth-best guy. Yeah. Oh, we really don’t appreciate our fourth best player enough.

Scott Zolak: Plus, he lost the desire to play here.

Marc Bertrand: Maybe he’s just not the star on the team. Maybe that’s why he doesn’t get the same love that Patrice Bergeron gets.

Scott Zolak: He also complained sometimes about the people that they put around him.

Marc Bertrand: Also had disappearing acts throughout the course of his career.

Scott Zolak: Are the lights on? Yeah.

Marc Bertrand: So I don’t think he is under-appreciated. I think he’s appropriately appreciated. I think people like David. Great guy a lot.
