There’s a poop dumper in Vermont.

According to WCAX, Someone is dumping human waste in the woods in Bolton and the town and state officials are looking for whoever is responsible.

In May, Volunteers with the Green Mountain Club discovered trash bags discarded in the woods next to the Winooski River. They quickly discovered that the bags were filled with human poop — upwards of 400 pounds worth of crap!

According to Bolton officials, some bags were ripped open by animals and crap spread onto nearby properties. Close to a dozen volunteers spent hours cleaning up the mess. But the… “dumping”… has continued.

Yet, town officials say they are not looking to prosecute. They just want the dumping to stop, and for whoever’s responsible to receive help instead.

“Our goal is to help get the system fixed and make sure that people have a safe clean environment to live in,” said a representative from the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation.

Town officials are suspecting whoever is doing the….. dumping….. has a busted septic system.
