As far as fall fruits go, the apple, in all its glorious varieties, rules the roost. Of course, when most think of apple recipes, they immediately think of apple pie. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that.)

However, the apple is far more versatile than its often given credit. Here are eight different fall apple recipes that aren’t pie.
