The trade deadline frenzy is officially upon the National Hockey League.
It started with some notable depth moves out in Colorado, and has only intensified since, with a huge move in Florida for Ben Chiarot (and a reportedly even bigger move on the way) with Claude Giroux destined for Sunrise. The Lightning decided to join in on the fun Friday, too, with an absolute king’s ransom sent to Chicago for the Blackhawks’ Brandon Hagel.
The Bruins, meanwhile, are still looking to make their first move up front.
Their needs are obvious. And the options at center and defense, while a bit more limited than they were when the week began, are mostly known. But when it comes to wing, with the Bruins potentially in the market for some more scoring help (especially if the team gives Jake DeBrusk the fresh start he wants), it remains options galore even after the Hagel trade.
So, who’s a potential fit for the Bruins if they’re looking for a winger between now and Monday’s 3 p.m. deadline?
