Contest Rules
SMALL BUSINESS BIG WINNER CONTEST
OFFICIAL RULES
These rules apply to the Small Business Big Winner Contest (“Contest”) sponsored by HarborOne Bank and conducted by Beasley Media Group, LLC d/b/a WBZ-FM (“Station”). In addition, the General Contest Rules posted at www.985thesportshub.com apply to this Contest. If there is a conflict between the General Contest Rules and the Rules for this Contest, the Rules for this Contest shall control.
1. HOW TO ENTER
a. The Contest will begin on August 21, 2023 and end on September 29, 2023.
b. To enter online, visit www.985thesportshub.com and follow the links and instructions to enter the Contest and complete and submit the online entry form, including the name of an eligible business, as defined in Section 2(b), beginning on August 21, 2023 at 9:00AM Eastern Time (“ET”) and ending on September 29 , 2023 at 11:59PM ET (“Online Entry Period”). Online entrants are subject to all notices posted online including but not limited to the Station’s Privacy Policy. Limit one (1) entry per eligible person during the Online Entry Period, regardless of whether entrant has more than one email address. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. Entries submitted may not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by the Contest administrator. An eligible business may be entered more than once so long as each different entrant is eligible to enter per Section 2 of these Contest rules.
c. There will be one (1) Grand Prize (“Prize”)-winning business selected in the Contest.
2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. This Contest is open to all Station listeners who are 21 years of age or older as of the date of entry into the Contest, who are legal US residents and reside in Massachusetts, New Hampshire or Rhode Island, except where prohibited by law. Winners must possess a valid, government-issued ID and show proof of residency to verify eligibility.
b. Entrants must be an officer, director authorized representative, or employee of a for-profit organization. Organization must be incorporated and have corporate domicile in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Rhode Island. Non-profits and 501(c)(3) organizations are not eligible for this Contest. Station reserves the right to request any verification documents prior to awarding any Prize and may reject any documents in their sole discretion.
3. PRIZE
a. One (1) Prize will be awarded. The Prize consists of an advertising schedule on a Beasley Media Group – Boston station (WROR, WKLB, WBOS, WBQT, or WBZ-FM) valued at no greater than fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000). An autographed Mac Jones jersey, and two (2) tickets to the New England Patriots game on October 22nd, 2023. ARV of the Prize is $15,750. The Prize will be awarded subject to Station advertising availability and must be used by December 31, 2023. Station reserves the right to approve and edit any scripts, images, videos, etc. and may reject any content if it is deemed, at the sole discretion of the Station, to be unsuitable for public display or posting on the Station’s website.
b. Prize must be claimed as described by the Station at the time of winning. Failure to claim the Prize by the specified time will result in forfeiture of the prize. It is the winner’s sole responsibility to claim the Prize within the timeline provided in these Official Rules.
4. SELECTION OF WINNERS
a. One (1) Prize-winning business will be selected at approximately 10:00am ET on October 2, 2023 in a Station-conducted random drawing from all eligible online entries received during the Online Entry Period. A representative of the potential Prize-winning business will be notified by phone and/or email promptly following the random drawing.
c. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible online entries received during the Online Entry Period.
d. Entrants need not listen to the Station or be present to win.
e. Winning business must confirm acceptance of Prize within seven (7) days of winning, or risk disqualification and selection of an alternate Prize-winning business (time permitting) in a random drawing of all remaining eligible entries.
f. Decisions of Station management with respect to the Contest are final.
5. CONDITIONS
a. The Station reserves the right to end any contest or amend these rules upon announcement on air and by publication at www.985thesportshub.com.
b. For website contests: By use of the Station’s website and by entering this Contest, entrants agree to the Station’s Terms of Service Agreement and to the use of Personal Information as stated in the Privacy Policy located at www.985thesportshub.com.
c. Copies of the written Contest rules and a list of all winners are available during regular business hours at the main studio of the Station, 1075 Main Street, Waltham, MA, 02453, or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Station.
