Who has been the best coach in the NFL through 6 weeks of the NFL season? The betting favorite to start the season was Mike Vrabel of the New England Patriots at +600. He has the team off to a 4-2 start and first place in the AFC East. Vrabel won the award in Tennessee back in 2021, the year they will face this Sunday.

The team with the best record in the AFC is the Indianapolis Colts. Shane Steichen is currently the betting favorite at +250. The second-year coach has the Colts leading the AFC South. He's a big part of the turnaround of Daniel Jones at quarterback. Liam Coen has led the Jaguars to a 4-2 start and comes in right behind Vrabel at +750. Vrabel is currently 2nd in the betting odds at +500.

The Colts & Jaguars will battle it out in the division and could decide the winner of the award. Vrabel and the Patriots winning the AFC East could seal the deal for Vrabel, especially with Buffalo being the Super Bowl favorite in the AFC and projected to dominate the division for years to come. The job Ben Johnson is doing in Chicago will also be in play if they can win the NFC North or make the playoffs
