Shedeur Sanders confirms meeting with teams drafting ahead of Patriots
Well Off Media published a YouTube video on Tuesday, following top-ranked quarterback Shedeur Sanders during his visit at his alma mater Colorado University. Sanders briefly discussed which NFL teams he has received interest from, saying that the Browns and Giants are the only two teams he is currently scheduled to meet with beginning on Mar. 4.
Sanders is widely regarded as one of the top quarterbacks in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft. The Browns have the No. 2 pick and the Giants have No. 3. Although it was largely assumed that one of those teams would likely select Sanders, his statement confirms the reported interest.
This has implications for the New England Patriots, who have the No. 4 pick in the draft and are likely to target a non-quarterback.

If Sanders were to be selected by the Browns or Giants, that leaves more opportunity for a high-end prospect like Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter to fall to them at No. 4.
However, it is likely that New England will need two, or more, quarterbacks to go off the board in the top-three in order to have Carter or Hunter available at four. Nonetheless, it is noteworthy that at least one of the first three selections will likely be used on a quarterback.
