Team Canada kicked off the 4 Nations Face-Off with a 4-3 overtime win over Team Sweden on Wednesday night at Bell Centre in Montreal. And as far as Boston's ties to the tournament, the Bruins' Brad Marchand got in on the fun.

Marchand scored the second goal of the game for Canada during the first period, finishing a heads-up feed from the Tampa Bay Lightning's Brayden Point, which gave him a lot of open net to hit.

According to Sportsnet, Canada is now 8-0 all-time between the World Cup and World Championships when Marchand scores.

Sidney Crosby led the way for Canada with three assists, while seven other players registered at least one point. Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner scored the game-winner for Canada in overtime.

For Sweden, the Bruins' Elias Lindholm came up empty on the scoresheet in 10:47 of ice time.

Up Next, Team USA and Team Finland will face off on Thursday night in Montreal, with puck drop expected at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. Boston's Charlie McAvoy and Jeremy Swayman will suit up for the U.S., with the Winnipeg Jets' Connor Hellebuyck set to start in goal.
