Bedard: 10 questions from around the NFL following week 10
Greg Bedard of BostonSportsJournal.com joined Felger and Mazz and answered 10 questions from Around the NFL following week 10 of the 2024 NFL season. Below is a recap of some of the QnA’s!
After his win on Sunday in Germany over the Giants, does Bryce Young deserve another chance somewhere in the league – would you give it to him in Carolina?
Greg Bedard: In Carolina? I don’t know. It depends on the head coach. If the head coach is staying? No. That guy has already shown he doesn’t have have confidence in Young. But I do think that Bryce Young is a good player but he is a unique talent, he’s sort of like Tua. If I were the Dolphins and he become available, I would go get Young to backup and be the next guy.
The Patriots obviously have the Rams and coach Sean McVay this week. Give me your best head coaches in the league and stop when you get to McVay….
Greg Bedard: Andy Reid, Kyle Shanahan, Sean McVay
Give me your list again and stop when you get to Mike Tomlin….
Greg Bedard: Andy Reid, Kyle Shanahan, Sean McVay, John Harbaugh, Jim Harbaugh, Mike Tomlin
Is there a landing spot for Shadeur Sanders/Deion Sanders coupling in the NFL next year? Would you do it if you ran a team?
Greg Bedard: Yes there is a place for it. I think that Vegas is the best place for it. And no I would not want it. It would just cause too many problems on the team. And I’m not really sure how good Deion is. I know he can sell a program and do that and recruit. But running an NFL team? I don’t know.
What does Kansas City’s blocked field goal victory over Denver on Sunday tell you?
Greg Bedard: That they have a rabbit’s foot lodged up their rear end just like the Patriots did for years. It was just something the Patriots would do or have happen to them.
