The New England Patriots removed Drake Maye from the injury report following Thursday's practice.

A week and a day after New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye was initially added to the team's injury report, he's now been removed. The Patriots issued their latest injury report following Thursday's practice, and did not have Maye listed.

Maye had been listed with a knee injury, but as a full participant in practice in all four reports since last Wednesday. During that time, Maye and coaches downplayed the significance of his knee injury, including declining to say when the injury occurred or what specifically the issue was. Maye played in last week's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and didn't show any obvious signs of his knee bothering him.

While Maye was removed from the report, two other players were added. Defensive tackle Daniel Ekuale (abdomen) and linebacker Raekwon McMillan (back) were both limited on Thursday after not appearing on the report on Wedesday.

Four more players had their statuses upgraded. Safeties Kyle Dugger (ankle) and Marte Mapu (neck) were both full participants after being limited on Wednesday, while running back Rhamondre Stevenson (foot) and linebacker Curtis Jacobs (knee) returned as full participants after not practicing at all on Wednesday.

The Jets upgraded three players as well. Defensive lineman Will McDonald (shoulder), linebacker Quincy Williams (neck), and cornerback Michael Carter (back) all went from limited to full participants. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers (knee/hamstring) was limited for the second day in a row.
