The Patriots' offensive line is banged up heading into the team's Thursday night game against the Jets.

A short week is never easy in the NFL, but that's especially true for players who are dealing with injuries. As the New England Patriots get ready to visit the New York Jets for Thursday Night Football in just three days, they have a number of players dealing with injuries.

That group includes the team's entire starting offensive line. All five projected starters appeared on Monday's injury report. Granted Monday's report is an estimation (teams are required to put out an injury report whether they actually hold practice or not), but still showed the team will be tested up front this week.

Center David Andrews (hip), left tackle Vederian Lowe (knee), and guard Sidy Sow (ankle) were all listed as non-participants. Sow hasn't practiced since getting hurt in the preseason finale and Lowe left Sunday's game early, so neither of those come as much of a surprise compared to Andrews, who played every snap on Sunday and wasn't listed on the injury report last week.

Meanwhile right tackle Mike Onwenu (wrist) and guard Layden Robinson (shoulder) were both listed as limited. Robinson had previously been dealing with that shoulder injury, while Onwenu's injury is new.

This could mean the Patriots' offensive line depth gets tested this week. Rookie Caedan Wallace and waiver wire claim Demontrey Jacobs are the Patriots' only healthy true tackles. Fellow waiver pickup Zach Thomas has experience at tackle and guard, while Nick Leverett was the Patriots' top backup center this summer.

The offensive line isn't the only place the Patriots are banged up. Linebackers Ja'Whaun Bentley (shoulder) and Oshane Ximines (knee) were both listed as non-participants. Both left Sunday's game early with injuries. Defensive lineman Deatrich Wise (shoulder), linebacker Anfernee Jennings (knee), cornerback Marcus Jones (knee), and safety Jabrill Peppers (shoulder) are all listed as limited.

The Jets did hold practice on Monday, so their injury report is not a projection. Linebackers Jermaine Johnson (Achilles) and C.J. Mosley (toe) didn't practice, while tackle Tyron Smith (not injury related/rest) and cornerbacks Michael Carter (ankle) and D.J. Reed (knee) were limited. Running back Breece Hall (quad) is listed as a full participant.
