The Seattle Seahawks had multiple players limited or missing at practice on Wednesday ahead of their matchup with the New England Patriots.

On Wednesday, the Seattle Seahawks had their first practice ahead of their Week 2 matchup with the New England Patriots. However Seattle was short-handed for that practice with a number of key players either limited or not practicing at all, according to Wednesday's injury report.

Among those who missed practice were running back Kenneth Walker (oblique) and starting right tackle George Fant (knee). Walker was the Seahawks' most productive offensive player last week, carrying the ball 20 times for 103 yards and a score. Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo was highly complimentary of Walker's game on Wednesday, saying "I think Kenneth doesn't get a lot of hype. I don't know what his Madden rating is or anything like that, but when you turn on the film, this guy pops off the film."

Meanwhile, Fant isn't the only starting lineman banged up for Seattle. Both starting guards Laken Tomlinson (ankle) and Anthony Bradford (knee) were listed as full participants.

Two defensive players also missed Wednesday's practice for Seattle. That includes starting linebacker Tyrel Dodson (shoulder) and linebacker Uchenna Nwosu (knee), who didn't play in Week 1 and is expected to miss this game as well.

In addition to the four players who were out, the Seahawks also had seven players listed as questionable. That includes wide receiver Tyler Lockett (thigh), tight ends Noah Fant (toe) and Pharaoh Brown (foot), linebacker Jerome Baker (hamstring), and cornerback Riq Woolen (hamstring), all players who play key roles.

As for the Patriots, guard Sidy Sow (ankle) was the only player to not patriciate in practice on Wednesday. Based on the portion of practice open to the media, guard Michael Jordan looks like he could be in line to start on the left side in Sow's place again this week.

The Patriots had eight players listed as limited, with six of those players also appearing on the injury report last week. That group includes offensive tackle Vederian Lowe (abdomen), linebacker Joshua Uche (foot), and safety Jabrill Peppers (hip).

Both new additions were due to rest days, with running back Rhamondre Stevenson (not injury related/rest) and center David Andrews (not injury related/rest) both included. Both handled a heavy workload on Sunday, with Stevenson leading the Patriots' offense with 126 all-purpose yards on 28 touches.
