The Mountain West conference is perfect for any degenerate gambler. These are the teams you are looking to bet on at the end of the night and of course has the final game of the card on the island in Hawaii. The conference is top heavy this season with favorite Boise State as the favorite. They have the top player in the conference and one of the best running backs in the country in Ashton Jeanty.

The two teams chasing the Broncos are UNLV and Fresno State. The Rebels won 9 games last season for a program that certainly doesn't have a tradition of winning,They had gone to just four bowl games as a program before Barry Odom's arrival. They lose quarterback Jayden Maiava who transfered to USC and threw for 3,085 yards and 17 touchdowns against 10 interceptions. The Rebels showcased great offensive versatility, leading the Mountain West in scoring (34.4) and ranking fourth in total offensive yards per game (412). They will need to replace that production under center as former Holy Cross QB Matthew Sluka will have the opportunity to lead the offense.

Fresno State returns Quarterback Mikey Keene after a strong first season in Fresno during which he threw 24 touchdowns and completed 67 percent of his passes for 2,976 yards. The former UCF QB was the New Mexico Bowl Offensive MVP. Interim coach Tim Skipper takes over after Jeff Tedford retired.
