Summer is the time for relaxing and kicking back and taking it easy for a while...

Here in New England, we tend to get caught up in the monotony of the day-to-day stresses of life and all that comes with it.

One place that is the remedy for all that hustle and bustle is Charleston, South Carolina, and it could be the perfect Summer getaway if you're looking to "get away" from it all...

And no one will know that better than our own Fred Toucher.

Fred is taking his son to a baseball tournament in Charleston this week and can't wait to experience all that Charleston has to offer away from the sights and sounds of the playing fields!

And since he is relatively unfamiliar with all that Charleston has to offer, here are a few attractions not to be missed in the Palmetto State's largest city...

Can't wait to see your pictures as you stroll down Rainbow Row or have a picnic at Riley Waterfront Park!

And don't forget the Old South Horse & Carriage Tour!

Nick Gemelli, the wizard behind the scenes at Toucher & Hardy and a maestro on 985thesportshub.com, kicked off his radio escapade back in 2007 as an intern for Toucher & Rich on WBCN. After navigating through WFNX and the Boston Phoenix, he made a triumphant return to the show in 2016. Hailing from Marshfield but currently holding it down in Tewksbury, Nick’s radio journey is as dynamic as his Twitter feed. Nick writes about what happens on the Toucher & Hardy Show and Boston area lifestyle content.
