HIGHLIGHTS: Bruins blown out by Jets in Winnipeg
Friday night saw the Bruins suffer their first regulation loss since Dec. 7, as the team was blown out by the Jets in what finished as a 5-1 final up in Winnipeg.
The loss was Boston’s third in a row overall, though, with the Bruins entering Friday’s showdown with back-to-back overtime losses to their name dating back to last Saturday against the Rangers.
Boston’s lone goal of offensive support in this one came from Brandon Carlo, and was scored with the Bruins down 4-0 and with just 5:38 remaining in the third period of play.
In goal, Bruins netminder Jeremy Swayman finished with 28 saves on 33 shots faced.
The Bruins will wrap up the road back-to-back Saturday night in Minnesota.
