FULL CONVERSATION
Parts of conversation abbreviated for clarity.
Hardy: So, what are you hearing about the Jets?
Zolak: Somebody of importance told me not to sleep on the Jets. I was like, “What are you talking about!”
Hardy: For what?
Zolak: As potentially being the next team for Belichick to be the head coach.
Bert Breer: They do check some of his boxes.
Paul Perillo: They do! I will say that I’m kind of sleeping on the jets, though. I just don’t see it.
Zolak: I laughed at the person who told me that. Then they said, “Don’t laugh at it.” Like, it could happen.
I deal with Bill twice a week. And there’s no team that he hates more than the Jets.
Bert Breer: I think much of that hate is rooted in Woody Johnson, right?
Zolak: Well, it was all in the ending for him there, you know, how it was handled. You know, the whole thing that happened between him and Parcells.
Bert Breer: Was the team sold yet, then?
Paul Perillo: No, that wasn’t Woody yet. That was Hess, right? Hess was selling the team at the time and making too many promises. And, you know, the Spygate stuff was jets related too.
Zolak: I mean, what he could do with that defense! And you know how much he loves Aaron Rodgers. Then, he would get to play against the Patriots twice.
Bert Breer: You have to admit that would be incredible theatre.
The 25-year border war, if that’s the conclusion to the border war, is crazy.
Zolak: Okay. You traded for him to come here in New England, right?
Bert Breer: Yeah.
Zolak: Man, wouldn’t that be coming full circle?

Nick Gemelli: The best places to pregame around TD Garden
Outside TD Garden is where I spend a lot of time, armed only with my smartphone and a keen ear for the ground. My aim during the shows is to capture the emotions of fans leaving Bruins and Celtics games.
To put it less formally, I’m basically out there looking for happy or angry folks, especially those who’ve had a bit to drink, to share their excitement or fury with me. Then, We play it back on the show the next day.

But, you know, getting audio late at night can be a drag, especially when I have to work in a few hours. One silver lining to these street interviews is the culinary adventure that unfolds around TD Garden. It goes beyond the cheers and disappointments. I take pleasure in exploring both old and new restaurants and bars, savoring their mouth-watering offerings.
So, in a nutshell, I enjoy checking out the diverse food scene around TD Garden—from traditional pub dishes to breweries. This culinary journey helps me power through my late nights and interviews.
