Will Taylor Swift be at Gillette Stadium on Sunday when the Kansas City Chiefs visit the New England Patriots? Felger and Mazz ask Paul Perillo if he has any inside info on Swift possibly being in attendance!

Will Taylor Swift be in attendance for Patriots vs Chiefs? 

Felger: Is Taylor Swift going to be in the building on Sunday. Paul Perillo, a high ranking member of the Patriots organization, is Taylor Swift going to be in the building on Sunday?

Paul Perillo: Can I give you an absolutely definitive…I don’t know.

Felger: I don’t believe you.

Paul Perillo: But I am thinking…Yes, but I do not know. So this is what I was told, as I figured you would delve into the hard hitting questions, when it was a Monday night game, when it was still scheduled for Monday night, I am told by somebody that she inquired about a suite for the Monday night game. This person told me that they have not heard back from those representatives since the game was flexed to Sunday at one o’clock. But a different person told me today that their understanding is that she will be here on Sunday. So, how’s that for a definitive maybe? That’s what I started off with.

Mazz: I’d let her ring the bell.

Felger: Okay, the ring the bell thing…There’s no way! She’s a Chiefs fan. You can’t let a Chiefs representative ring your bell. Could you? Can you?

Mazz: Yeah, why not?

Jim Murray: No, you can’t do that.

Mazz: How much money dis she bring to the stadium when she was here?

Felger: Oh, billions. Or something like that. A lot.

Mazz: Okay, then do it.

Paul Perillo: Her first ever stadium concert was here. Gillette Stadium. So, you know, she owes us.

Mazz: I let her ring my bell.

Greg Bedard: 10 Questions From Around The NFL Following Week 14

Greg Bedard of BostonSportsJournal.com joined the Felger and Mazz program on Tuesday, as he does every week to discuss the Patriots and the NFL games from the past week. While on, Greg Bedard did his weekly “10 Questions” segment on the program following week 14 of the 2023 NFL season…

Before the 10 questions, here’s some notes from around the NFL….

The New York Giants have won 3 games in a row, all started by undrafted free agent quarterback Tommy DeVito.

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick picked up his 301st career victory on Thursday night in a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Belichick is 3rd all-time on the NFL’s wins by a head coach list.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, who will faceoff against Belichick and the Patriots this Sunday at Gillette Stadium, is 4th all-time on the head coach wins list. Reid currently sits 46 wins behind Belichick with 255.

The San Francisco 49ers overtook the Philadelphia Eagles for the NFC lead in week 14 with a win over the Seattle Seahawks and the Eagles loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The 49ers are joined by the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC as the conference leaders through 14 weeks of the 2023 season.

Through 14 weeks of the 2023 NFL season just 2 teams have been eliminated from playoff contention. Those teams are the Carolina Panthers and the New England Patriots.

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey leads all rushers in yards this season with 1,177. No other rusher has hit the 1,000 yard mark so far this season.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill leads all receivers with 1,542 receiving yards. Hill has 284 more receiving yards than Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa leads all passer with 3,697 passing yards. Tagovailoa has thrown for 66 more yards than Houston Texans rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud who has thrown for 3,631 yards in his rookie season so far.

    10. Should the Packers play just before their ultimate go-ahead TD have been a touchdown?

    Greg Bedard: Yes. If he would have caught the ball on the line, just caught it and got two feet down and then went out of bounds, it would have been a touchdown. Like the end zone is officiated differently than the field. You don’t need the time element. You get two feet down with the ball, that’s it’s a touchdown. It’s over.

    9. Should the Saquon Barkely play have been a fumble? (Wasn’t he tackled?)

    Greg Bedard: Should not have been a fumble. That tackle caused him to fall on the ground. End of play.

    8. Thoughts on Tommy DeVito? Thoughts on his agent?

    Greg Bedard: DeVito, he’s Italian, faster, better arm than Zappe. Just really a guy. And his agent, Sean Stellato, Salem native, I’ve known him for years. The guy is a hustler, I will say that. When I was at the Globe he used to be all over my case. He works it and he’s nonstop work. I got to give him credit. Good for him. Definitely annoying on television, but that’s just him. He wears this stuff all the time. It’s not just for show for these games.

    7. Lead takeaway from Dolphins-Titans?

    Greg Bedard: Tyreek Hill is the MVP of the NFL. He’s the most valuable player by far. They are completely different team. Tua is completely different without Tyreek Hill on the field.

    6. Thoughts on the offsides on Kadarius Toney and the Chiefs reaction to it?

    Greg Bedard: That has to be called. He’s a moron for not checking with the ref. And the Chiefs, they were embarrassing after the game and their reaction to it. I know they’re frustrated about last week against the Packers, mostly their own play, but they embarrassed themselves.

    5. Rank the worst toolbag organizations/fan bases when it comes to bitching about officiating? Worst 3 in order…

    Greg Bedard: New England Patriots. Kansas City Chiefs. Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens fans have a persecution complex. I’m not sure if they do it that much for the cameras, but definitely behind the scenes.
