We are past the halfway point of the season and there are some interesting betting trends to look back on. In Week 9, the under continued to be profitable going 11 of 14. I wrote about how scoring is down in the NFL for many reasons such as the international games, officiating, the extra game and lack of a preseason.  The low hanging fruit is quarterback play around the NFL with 9 backups playing under center this week. Through 136 games this season, the under is 83-52-1 (61.4%) per Bookies.com.

Betting favorite's through 9 weeks have won at a 52% clip and the chalk went 9-4 for a very profitable week. (Disclosure: I am a compensated endorser of DraftKings.)
