First Patriots injury report of Week 6 has three non-participants
On Wednesday, the New England Patriots and Las Vegas Raiders released their first injury reports of the week ahead of their Week 6 matchup Sunday afternoon. For the Patriots, three players didn’t participate in Wednesday’s practice.
In addition to linebacker Matthew Judon (elbow), who is expected to miss extended time following surgery but hasn’t been placed on IR, wide receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion) and Demario Douglas (concussion) both were absent Wednesday as well. Both left last Sunday’s game against the Saints early.

In addition to those three players, the Patriots have 11 players listed as limited. Of that group, linebacker Josh Uche (knee) is the only addition from last week.
Active players who were limited on Wednesday are offensive linemen Trent Brown (chest), Mike Onwenu (ankle), Cole Strange (ankle), and Riley Reiff (knee), defensive linemen Christian Barmore (knee) and Davon Godchaux (ankle), and defensive backs Jonathan Jones (ankle) and Shaun Wade (shoulder). Additionally all three players on IR/designated to return – wide receiver Tyquan Thornton (shoulder), defensive lineman Trey Flowers (foot), and Cody Davis (knee) were limited as well.
There’s also one player who was removed from the injury report after being listed last week. Running back Rhamondre Stevenson (thigh) is no longer included.
As for the Raiders, they had 10 players listed on their report. Wide receiver Devante Adams (shoulder) and cornerback Nate Hobbs (ankle) didn’t practice on Wednesday. Six players, including defensive end Maxx Crosby (knee), were limited.
