Toucher & Rich love talking about college sports. Well, not really. What they do love to talk about is college football fans, and more importantly, the fans who call into The Paul Finebaum Show. Fred, Rich, and sometimes Wallach (when he's not laughing over a punchline) mock the fans, their education—or lack thereof—and their phone quality during their segments highlighting the best moments from the Paul Finebaum show.

SEC Nation host Paul Finebaum stares down a live alligator on the set during the filming of the SEC Nation college football show, at the Plaza of the Americas on the University of Florida campus, in Gainesville, Fla. Sept. 18, 2021.

Finebaum, a veteran writer, reporter, and radio personality, has built a legion of loyal sports fans as the "Voice of the SEC" during his 20 years hosting his Birmingham, Ala.-based radio talk show. When ESPN launched the SEC Network in 2014, it was only natural that Finebaum became its first on-air hire, bringing his radio show—and those passionate followers—with him. Now originating from one of the SEC Network studios in Charlotte, N.C., the show is a forum for lively discussion and debate on all things SEC and across the spectrum of college sports, with Finebaum playing the role of both moderator and provocateur. The show airs weekday afternoons throughout the year on the SEC Network.

Toucher and Rich, a Marconi Award-winning morning radio show from 6 to 10 AM on The Sports Hub 98.5 WBZ-FM, in Boston, Massachusetts, first aired on June 5, 2006 on now defunct 104.1 WBCN. On August 13, 2009, following the demise of WBCN, the show slid over to 98.5 The Sports Hub. Now, they’re a POWERHOUSE in the Boston market.

On Thursday, these two titans joined forces for one segment. Fred and Rich were invited to the Paul Finebaum show and it ended up being an entertaining segment. However, fans of Finebaum’s show were NOT entertained!
