Seagulls storm Sullivan’s on Castle Island, causing feathery frenzy!
It’s a seagull takeover at Sullivan’s on Castle Island and have declared an all-you-can-eat buffet in their territory!
Sullivan’s, that beloved seasonal Southie restaurant, has found itself in the midst of a feathery frenzy. With its picturesque location by the water on Castle Island, is an ideal spot to enjoy a lobster roll, hot dog or tasty treats. But the seagulls have discovered the perfect spot for their dining pleasure and they just can’t resist the temptation of the food offerings. Who can blame them, really?
The restaurant’s policy is to remake orders for free if a seagull swoops down and snatches a customer’s food. But the seagull invasion has reached epic proportions – Last weekend, the restaurant was bombarded with so many seagulls, they couldn’t keep up with all the food they had to remake.
When WBZ-TV tried to get the inside scoop on this airborne mayhem, a Sullivan’s employee played it cool and kept their beak shut. No comments from them! The restaurant reps were just as elusive as those seagulls, not replying to any requests for an explanation.
The situation got so out of hand that they had to rope off the outdoor eating area with caution tape, plastered with warnings like “please cover your food” and “beware seagulls.” It’s like a scene straight out of a movie. That’s not stopping the birds. They’re just hanging around, waiting for their next chance to snatch some human grub.
CBS BOSTON:
However, NBC10 Boston managed to speak to an unnamed employee, who spilled the beans about this bird behavior. Apparently, these seagulls are turning into food-stealing ninjas! They swoop down with precision, nabbing the food right from people’s hands as they’re about to take a bite.
So, if you’re planning a visit to Sullivan’s Castle Island anytime soon, be prepared for a showdown with the foodie seagulls. Keep your eyes on your grub, folks, and maybe practice some stealthy moves to outwit these rascally birds. It’s a food battle for the ages, and the seagulls are not backing down without a fight!
