Zolak & Bertrand: Mac Jones or Ryan Tannehill? Who’s better?
On Tuesday’s edition of Zolak & Bertrand, Zo and Beetle debated Joe Murray over who’s the better QB, Mac Jones or Ryan Tannehill?
Murray couldn’t comprehend in the slightest that the guys would pick Mac Jones as the better option. But Murray had the stats ready…

You can’t ignore the numbers…
Beetle: Well, Joe thinks Ryan Tannehill is an All-Pro so…
Joe Murray: No, no, that’s not actually correct. Pull up the two seasons, okay, and it’s fine. If you don’t like my opinion, that’s fine. But I’m just going to give you the facts, okay? Because we all watch the games, right? Two seasons. Mac Jones, 26 touchdowns, 24 interceptions.
Zo: So you’re counting last year…
Joe Murray: I’ll include Tannehill last year then if you want know. 34 touchdowns, 20 interceptions. Tannehill has been better than Mac Jones. I don’t understand why people are arguing with me on this one. He’s got a better percentage, more yards, he’s better. And how about this? He’s had a pretty solid ten year career. Can Mac Jones do that? Maybe he can. He turns the ball over too much, Mac Jones, and you guys probably think it’s Tannehill who turned the ball over too much.
Zo: It’s more critical. I think his (Tannehill) turnovers are more critical.
Joe Murray: Who has more turnovers? It’s Mac Jones.
Zo: I think Tannehill is a coach killer.
Joe Murray: I’m sorry, I’m just speaking facts. Actual statistics.
Zo: You went through two years, where one year was an absolute disaster based on the offensive setup. So it’s hard for me to really sit here and say, look at what Tannehill’s done here.
Beetle: Okay, great it out just on his rookie year. Mac in his rookie year. Do you think that look like a quarterback who is going to be better than Ryan Tannehill? Try to take last year out of it.
Zo: Yea..
Joe Murray: 22 touchdowns, 13 interceptions is essentially what Ryan Tannehill is.
