Billy Joel and Elton John shaking hands as they perform together.Despite having countless music debates over the years, Billy Joel or Elton John for a "This or That" might be our toughest debate yet.
Both of their legacies are permanently connected with each other because of their countless tours together. In the history of pop music, they're the the longest running and most successful concert tandem ever.
On top of them performing their own songs and setlist, they'd also do each other's songs with duets. The duo stopped touring together in 2012 due to some of the limitations it created for both artists in terms of setlists restraints.
Beetle and Hardy thought they were on the same page before realizing they were ultimate enemies. Hardy was for Elton John. Beetle for Billy Joel.
Hardy: Did Billy Joel ever write a song that was so good that William Shatner had to cover it?
Beetle: No. Don't know that he did.
Hardy: I got issues with both. I have a lot.
Beetle: *Circle of Life plays* The imagery of that one.... I mean Rafiki and Simba. Now, Billy Joel never had one of those bangers.
Glasheen: Milliken can you come in here and pick me up? Like Simba.
Milliken: I'm coming Glasheen.
Hardy: All right. You're going, Billy Joel. I'm just going to ignore that. I'm going Elton John. Glasheen?
Glasheen: Joel.
Hardy: Of course you are. Are you Syracuse, guy? Yeah, that's why. Makes sense.
Beetle: Milliken?
Milliken: I don't know any songs by either one.
Beetle: Oh, see, now you... Come on, you must.
Milliken: I told Tom, and he didn't believe me. I don't know any other music.
T-Bone: He knows the songs when I tell them to him. When I tell them.
Milliken: I only knew Rocket Man, but I know the title. I couldn't tell you how the song goes.
T-Bone: I think Billy Joel.
Beetle: What did Louth say?
Milliken: Elton John In a landslide.
