Cambridge Vegan Restaurant Named Best In Massachusetts
Plant-based eating has become increasingly more popular. New England is the host of one of the largest vegan events in the world, the annual Boston Veg Food Fest. In the greater Boston area specifically, a Cambridge establishment was named the best vegan restaurant in Massachusetts.
Tasting Table recently published a report that details the best place to go for a full vegan menu in each state. Many restaurants across the country offer vegan or vegetarian options. Now, there are more and more places that are dedicated to a plant-based menu only. In selecting their vegan choice in each state, Tasting Table searched through a wide scope. “Bear in mind that not every restaurant listed is entirely vegan; while the accessibility of veganism is improving, in some instances, the best choices were eateries with extensive vegan options,” Tasting Table explains prior to providing their winners.
In Massachusetts, the best vegan restaurant is in Cambridge, right near MIT.
Veggie Galaxy
Branded as a diner and vegan bakery, Veggie Galaxy is located in a Central Square neighborhood that is full of creativity. The restaurant is themed to have a traditional diner look and feel. However, the menu is where things really get unique. The food options are entirely vegetarian, but everything listed can be made vegan. Furthermore, the bakery onsite is 100% vegan.
Menu
There are nine categories of food options at Veggie Galaxy. They were well-known for serving breakfast all day. Cauliflower also gets its own menu section. Items like the Buffalo Cauli and the Baja Cauli Tacos are listed as “vegan by default.”
In addition, the all vegan bakery offers four different layer cakes, cheesecakes, pies, and pastries.
“We’re in business to provide friendly old-time diner hospitality to all of our guests. We want to be the best part of your day,” Veggie Galaxy states on their website. This Cambridge restaurant being recognized as the best in Massachusetts shows they are certainly backing that up.
