The Patriots brought back a pair of players from the training camp injury lists on Friday. Center David Andrews and punter Jake Bailey returned to the field after spending the first two days of camp on PUP and NFI respectively.
Andrews opened camp on PUP after undergoing shoulder surgery this offseason. James Ferentz had seen a significant increase in center reps while Andrews was out.
Bailey was placed on the NFI the night before training camp. Despite having UDFA Jake Julien on the roster, but the team did no punting work through the first two days.
Seven players remain out for the Patriots. Jonathan Jones, Jabrill Peppers, and James White remain out on PUP while Myles Bryant, Chasen Hines, Quinn Nordin, and Andrew Stueber are on NFI.
While the Patriots got two players back at practice on Friday, two were missing as well. Quarterback Brian Hoyer wasn’t on the field after not taking any reps on Thursday. Deatrich Wise also wasn’t spotted for the second day in a row.
