Faneuil Hall hosting free public viewing party for Game 1 of NBA Finals

Boston’s Faneuil Hall is hosting a public watch party on Thursday night for the Game 1 of the NBA Finals between the Celtics and Warriors. Here are the details.

The Boston Celtics are on the road for Game 1 of the NBA Finals. They're in San Francisco to take on the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center.

So, to give fans in the Boston area a special viewing experience, the city is holding a viewing party at Sam Adams Park in Faneuil Hall, free to the public, starting around tip-off at 9 p.m. ET Thursday night.

No further plans for potential future public viewing parties have been announced. Game 2 is scheduled for Sunday at 8 p.m. ET, with the series shifting back to Boston on Wednesday at 9.
