Boston Celtics

From a 42-point performance from Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Celtics erasing a 14-point deficit, Game 3 between Boston and Milwaukee marked a thrilling game with an action-packed finish. Yet with all of that, the officiating came away one of the most talked-about topics.

In the review of the end of the game, the NBA released its last two minutes report to review the officiating of the contest.

Among the standout rulings of the report is the NBA doubling down on the foul called against Jrue Holliday on Marcus Smart. On a play where Smart attempted to get a shot off from beyond the arc, the officials ruled that Holliday made contact before Smart was in the act of shooting. As a result, Smart was only awarded two free throws in the bonus instead of three shots from a shooting foul.

Other key notes came from ruling a defensive three-second violation on Al Horford and a foul by Jayson Tatum against Holliday as incorrect calls.

The Celtics look to even the series at 2-2 in Game 4 on Monday night at 7:30 p.m. ET. Pregame coverage begins at 7 on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
