With the regular season in the books, the Boston Celtics look ahead to the postseason, but still don’t know who they’re playing. They will find out their first-round opponent on Tuesday.
The Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers will battle in the Eastern Conference play-in tournament on Tuesday, with the winner clinching the No. 7 seed and advancing to play the Celtics starting on Sunday, Apr. 7. The loser will play the winner of the other play-in game between the Atlanta Hawks and the Charlotte Hornets. The winner of the final play-in matchup clinches the eighth seed and will play the Miami Heat in the conference quarterfinals on Sunday.
Brooklyn and Cleveland tip off at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday night, followed by Atlanta and Charlotte at 7 p.m. ET Wednesday on ESPN. The match-up of the loser of the Nets-Cavaliers against the winner of Hawks-Hornets will play Friday, with a time and network to be determined.
The time and broadcast network of the Celtics’ first-round opener on Sunday is still yet to be announced.
