The Celtics added depth to the roster on Wednesday, signing forward Malik Fitts to a deal after two stints on a ten-day contract, as disclosed in a statement from the team.

With 12 games on his resume, the 24-year-old entered the NBA in 2020 with the Clippers before a stop in Utah. The six-foot-eight forward played in college at South Florida and Saint Mary’s.

Fitts offered potential in the NBA G-League this season, averaging 15.0 points per game and shooting 40 percent from the field in just under 30 minutes per game.

As reported by Adrian Wojnarowski, the deal keeps Fitts in Boston through the end of the 2022-2023 season. His salary is partially guaranteed for next year.
