Cardinals receiver and UMass alum Andy Isabella was recently granted the go-ahead to seek a trade, and he may want to be shipped up to Foxboro.
The Sports Hub’s own Marc Bertrand reported Isabella’s trade request via Twitter on March 2, and also endorsed the idea of the Patriots pursuing the former Minutemen wideout. Evan Lazar of CLNS Media later corroborated Bertrand’s report, adding that there’s “interest from Isabella’s side” to sign with New England.
According to Josina Anderson, Isabella’s camp plans to “actively reach out to teams in the middle of March around free agency.”
I'm told that Arizona Cardinals WR Andy Isabella has been given permission to seek a trade. Patriots should take a look! #UMass

The receiver ended his career at UMass on a high note, posting back-to-back 1,000-yard and 10-touchdown seasons in 2017 and 2018. On top of the local ties, he could fit in nicely in the slot for New England.
Isabella found himself almost entirely out of the equation in Arizona in 2021, finishing with just one catch on one target for 13 yards in eight games played. As a speedy weapon that could work the middle of the field, the Patriots seem like a strong fit.
