The Boston Celtics are adding two more players to mix, with the team set to sign forwards Malik Fitts and Kelan Martin to 10-day contracts, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

The 6-foot-8 Fitts has appeared in 10 career NBA games, seven of which came this season in a run with the Jazz, including a 21:10 night against the Raptors back on Jan. 7. Overall, the St. Mary’s product has totaled nine points (3-for-12 shooting, with all three of his makes coming from three-point range), 13 rebounds, and committed two turnovers in 45:40 of NBA play.

Martin, meanwhile, comes to the C’s after appearing in 27 games for the Pacers in 2021-22.

Averaging a career-high 16:27 per game over the course of his 27-game run with Indiana, Martin averaged 6.3 points and 2.0 rebounds per game, and shot 41.7 percent from the floor (29.7 percent from deep).

The 26-year-old Butler product has appeared in 93 NBA games over the last three seasons between Memphis and Indiana, with 5.6 point per game to go with a 41.7 field goal percentage and 30.9 field goal percentage from beyond the arc.

The Celtics will return to action Thursday night against the Nets.
