COVID continues to be an issue for the Patriots’ cornerback room. On Tuesday, starter Jalen Mills was placed on the reserve/COVID list.
Mills in the second cornerback in as many days to go on the list for the Patriots. Rookie Shaun Wade was placed in COVID protocols Monday. Myles Bryant had also been on the list, but was activated Tuesday as Mills was added.
If Mills is vaccinated, there is still a chance he could play Saturday against the Bills under the NFL’s new COVID protocols assuming he’s asymptomatic. If he’s unvaccinated, he would be unable to return in time for the game.
