The NBA trade deadline is exactly one month away. While a lot will happen around the league between now and Feb. 10, details are starting to emerge about each team’s strategy for the deadline period.

Sitting at 10th in the Eastern Conference with a 19-21, the Celtics are right on the edge of being being buyers or sellers. A new report from Shams Charania of The Athletic seems to indicate the plan may be the latter. However, not every player on the roster is expected to be available.

“The 19-21 Celtics have indicated to rival teams that they want to build around Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown — and have no interest to split up the two All-Star forwards right now,” Charania wrote on Monday, adding “the Celtics appear open for business around other players on the roster.”
