As the Patriots being preparing for the Jacksonville Jaguars, the team is dealing with a trio of new injury. Three players listed on Wednesday’s injury report didn’t appear last week, with 12 players listed in total.
Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (thigh), linebacker Dont’a Hightower (knee), and J.C. Jackson (elbow) were all limited on Wednesday. This is the first time Meyers or Jackson has appeared on the injury report this season.
Seven others were limited on Wednesday, as they were last week. That group includes running backs Damien Harris (hamstring) and Brandon Bolden (knee), wide receiver N’Keal Harry (hip), center David Andrews (shoulder), defensive lineman Christian Barmore (shoulder), safety Adrian Phillips (knee), and kicker Nick Folk (left knee).
Both wide receiver Nelson Agholor (concussion) and safety Joshuah Bledsoe (calf) missed practice on Wednesday. Agholor hasn’t practiced since suffering his concussion two weeks ago against the Colts, while Bledsoe missed only Friday last week.
Two players were removed from last week’s injury report. Running back Rhamondre Stevenson returned after dealing with an illness last week and being placed on the reserve/COVID list over the weekend. Linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley is also no longer listed with an injury, but he was placed on reserve/COVID on Monday. He’s one of six players currently on the list along with Brian Hoyer, Matthew Judon, Brandon King, Josh Uche, and Deatrich Wise.
Just three players are listed on Jacksonville’s injury report. Tight end James O’Shaughnessy (hip) and tackle Will Richardson (finger) didn’t practice on Wednesday, and linebacker Dakota Allen (shoulder) was limited. The Jaguars also have 25 players currently on the reserve/COVID list.
