The Bruins added yet another player to the team’s still-growing COVID list Tuesday, with Brandon Carlo landing in the league’s COVID protocol, according to the team. Carlo is now the 10th player to test positive in the last week.
In addition to Carlo, Boston’s COVID list includes forwards Patrice Bergeron, Anton Blidh, Trent Frederic, Taylor Hall, Curtis Lazar, Brad Marchand, Craig Smith, and Oskar Steen, as well as goaltender Jeremy Swayman. The Bruins also have two team staff members in the protocol right now, bringing the organizational total up to 12.
Carlo’s positive test comes just days after the NHL decided to postpone all of the B’s games through the holiday break, and with the league set to pause its season through Dec. 26 following Tuesday’s slate of games.
The Bruins are currently scheduled to return to action Dec. 27 against the Penguins.
