The Patriots were without three players at practice on Wednesday, after having just one listed as a non-participant on Tuesday. Linebacker Ronnie Perkins (ankle) was downgraded from limited to out, and defensive end Chase Winovich was added as a non-participant after not appearing on the list to start the week. Offensive tackle Yodny Cajuste (illness) sat out for the second straight day.
Eight players are listed as limited, including running backs Damien Harris (hamstring) and Brandon Bolden (knee), center David Andrews (shoulder), tackle Trent Brown (calf/wrist), defensive lineman Christian Barmore (knee), linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley (ribs), safety Adrian Phillips (knee) and kicker Nick Folk (left knee). All were limited Tuesday as well.
Quarterback Mac Jones (left thumb) is listed as a full participant. Jones took part in the media portion of Wednesday’s practice with a glove covering his left hand. He was originally added to the injury report supplementally on Tuesday.
Offensive tackle Yasir Durant was not spotted during the portion of practice open to the media. However, he was not listed on the injury report in any capacity.
UPDATE: The Patriots have placed Durant on COVID-reserve, per ESPN’s Mike Reiss. Durant becomes the second player from the Patriots’ active roster currently on the list joining running back J.J. Taylor. Tight end Dalton Keene (season-ending IR) are also on COVID-reserve.
As for the Colts, tight end Jack Doyle (ankle) was added to the injury report as a limited participant. Fellow tight end Kylen Granson (not injury related) and center Ryan Kelly (knee/illness) were upgraded from limited to full participants. Linebacker Bobby Okereke (illness) missed practice for the second straight day.
