New Hampshire Ice Castles Set to Open in January
The New Hampshire Ice Castles are getting ready for the 2022 season!
Thanks to the cold New England weather, construction has officially begun on the famous ice castles in New Hampshire, according to WCVB. Ice artisans will be harvesting and hand-place up to 10,000 icicles each day to build the multi-acre ice castle, as well as the other experiences the surrounding area offers.
The tourist attraction, located in North Woodstock, will also feature a snow tubing hill, Mystic Forest Light Walk and horse-drawn sleigh rides. Plus, they are adding an ice sculpture garden and illuminated winter fairy village that they did not have in years past.
As of now, it is expected to open in early January, as long as the weather permits. Priority booking vouchers are now on sale through the official website. See some photos from the site below!
